Point, then change.
4keys is a studio for building one story artifact and changing it precisely. You keep the structure, select the exact block you want reworked, and direct an AI at that block alone — then review the proposal before anything is applied.
The four keys
Deck
LiveThe deck renderer is the stage that exists today. Scenes and blocks are edited, previewed, published, and viewed through it.
Toon
Read-onlyThe webtoon renderer reads the same blocks as a second view. 4keys does not generate webtoons.
Page
Not builtNamed in the product, not implemented. There is no page renderer in the software.
Play
Not builtNamed in the product, not implemented. There is no play renderer in the software.
You point at the part you want changed
In the Studio you select a single block on the rendered artifact. That selection is the only place an AI direction is allowed to change anything. Nothing outside the selected target moves.
A direction produces a proposal, not an edit. The project does not change until you press Apply, and every Apply can be undone — the undo is recorded as a new revision rather than by rewinding the revision number.
Model output is never rendered as raw HTML or JavaScript. Only markup and scoped CSS that the 4keys compiler accepted are previewed, applied, and published.
The cloud copy is the real one
Your project is saved to the server under your own account, and the server revision is authoritative. Browser storage is only an offline and crash cache, and a save that would overwrite a newer revision is shown to you as a conflict instead of being resolved silently.
Projects, uploads, jobs, proposals, and publications are read and written only within your own account. No provider key, runner secret, or model session exists in browser code or browser storage.
Publishing freezes one saved revision
Publishing takes one revision you already saved and writes an immutable public snapshot at a slug you choose. Editing the draft afterwards does not change what is published; republishing writes a new version, and only the current version is readable and downloadable at the slug. Earlier snapshots are retained but are not served once a newer version supersedes them.
The public snapshot carries only the public projection. Story Bible notes, scene purpose and script, directions you typed, model output, and internal identifiers are not part of it.
Revoking a slug stops new public reads. A published story is readable by anyone who has the link — it is public, not private.
What 4keys does not do
It can generate one reviewable image from the Studio when the configured image service is available. A generated image is not placed into a block automatically: you review it, promote it into your library, and then apply the ordinary asset patch. Video remains unavailable.
It is not a general web builder, it has no multi-user collaboration, no billing, and no marketplace.
It is pre-production software with no availability commitment, and access is granted by invitation through Cloudflare Access.
